Position Summary
The ANA already plays a leading role in the marketing industry’s sustainability efforts. This includes our transformative work in programmatic media to create more effective advertising, our work in Cross Media Measurement to create an environment that is clean from the start, and the community of leaders we have assembled around inclusive and sustainable marketing that is not just changing the digital ecosystem, but creating seismic change in our industry’s impact on the planet while driving growth, which we will continue to bring to the fore.
The future of the ANA’s role in sustainability is all about growth. Our industry leaves money on the table the more we allow sustainable and inclusive marketing to fall by the wayside. Both are great imperatives for the future of not just our industry, but of business.
By end of 2025, the ANA will be the first stop for marketers seeking resources related to sustainability community, insights, and innovation in the industry. As our industry continues to transform in the face of new regulation and consumer priorities, we remain the foremost organization emphasizing and proving the business value of environmental sustainability and diversity, equity, and inclusion. To ensure this reputation expands and that we are providing marketers with the tools they need to drive growth that is more sustainable and inclusive, we will collaborate with our internal business machines and industry partners to maximize ANA’s presence, relationships with CMOs, and resources available to the industry.
This role is an opportunity for a highly motivated and passionate individual to advance the infrastructure of the Sustainability Practice that will benefit the 60,000+ marketers of ANA’s membership, in defining and activating marketing’s role in sustainability related activities. The ability for ANA members to leverage sustainability as a growth engine for brand builders is the key metric of success. This position reports to the President of SeeHer.
