Job Description

Join a new and exciting dealership in Mauston, WI as you lead a high-performing marine and power sports sales team, driving revenue, optimizing inventory, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Requires 3–5 years of sales leadership experience and CRM proficiency. Starting salary is $80,000 annually, plus a generous commission structure.

Essential Functions

  • Collaborate with other Sales Managers to drive overall sales performance and ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Lead and oversee the sales team, ensuring exceptional customer experiences from initial greeting to closing the sale.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans in collaboration with the General Manager to achieve and exceed sales goals.
  • Monitor and optimize inventory daily to maintain the ideal stock mix for maximum turnover and profitability.
  • Foster strong cross-departmental collaboration with F&I, Accounting, Operations, Service, and Parts to enhance the overall sales process.
  • Track and manage all customer interactions, ensuring leads are properly logged and followed up using a CRM system.
  • Coach and mentor sales associates, setting ambitious yet attainable sales targets and providing ongoing support.
  • Uphold and enforce best practices in sales techniques, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across the team.
  • Conduct engaging sales meetings and training sessions to enhance team performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and provide coaching and guidance to direct reports as needed.
  • Perform timely performance evaluations, including new hire assessments and annual employee reviews.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in marine or power sports vehicle sales required.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional customer service, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and a strong team leader.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in CRM and inventory management software.
  • High school diploma required; additional education or certifications are a plus.
